Why incentive travel can be such a great reward to offer your staff

Everyone wants to feel appreciated, and every business owner wants a team proud to work with their company. And this is exactly the kind of thing that incentive travel is perfect for —One grand gesture to reward your staff and leave them motivated and refreshed.
So, with that in mind, here’s a little on why using companies such as Corporate Rewards to organise and offer incentive travel to your staff can be such a great idea.

Exotic destinations

Everyone has one of those destinations in their mind whenever the topic of a holiday comes up – those one or two places that they’ve always wanted to visit, but never had the time or opportunity before.
Well, maybe one of the ways you can organise incentive travel is to circulate a very short survey on holiday destinations and activities amongst your staff, perhaps asking them for their top three holiday destinations. Once you’ve got all the responses, you’ll be able to tally up the destinations and decide on a destination that your staff will love.
If you really want to emphasise incentive travel as a surprise reward, maybe avoid mentioning that aspect entirely, instead calling it “market research”, for example. Doing something like this will help guarantee your staff really appreciate both the reward and the surprise element of incentive travel.

Any reason

On top of that, you don’t need to give any specific reason why you’re offering such a great reward to your staff. Whatever reason you want to offer it is all you need. Have you had a really tough period, but your staff rose above and beyond to see you through it? Have you just won a new and really lucrative client that will massively benefit your business?
This is another way incentive travel can be so interesting; if you think something deserves rewarding, then reward it! Whatever it is that deserves rewarding, and whatever it is you reward them with is entirely down to you.

Keeping the team happy and motivated

Incentive travel is a pretty extravagant gesture to offer staff for their hard work. But that’s exactly why it’s such a great way to reward your staff. Having an invested, happy, and motivated team can help keep your business as successful as possible going forward by ensuring that your team are always willing to work at the best of their abilities.
It’s not to say that incentive travel is the only way to reward your staff. You’re more than welcome, and encouraged, to make staff feel like part of a corporate family rather than “just” employees throughout the whole year and in a variety of ways.
The main thing to keep in mind is the ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ angle of incentive travel, and how you can fully plan the entire holiday to fill it with memorable and unique experiences that will stick with your staff for years and years, while also leaving them immensely refreshed and rewarded, ready to push your business further on their return.

Hunkemoller Bloggers Collection with Caroline Einhoff

You know when you get really excited over a brand, and you just want to shout it to the world....?? Well, I'm shouting about Hunkemoller. It's an online store with the most amazing and gorgeous lingerie and nightwear, however they also have fitness clothing and collections too. Now, the fabulous part is that they also have Bloggers Collections.
They have collaborated with Caroline Einhoff who is a successful German blogger with over a million followers on Instagram. Caroline is stunningly beautiful with a fabulous figure and of course she is extremely photogenic. She has designed a wonderful collection for Hunkemoller, all very feminine too.... lots of pink !!
As much as I love her collection, the first item I am going to tell you about is her bag. Now, obviously we all need a bag to put her other items in, so that's why we are starting here. Plus, I needed a large bag that is comfortable and useful whilst out and about with two kids..... but doesn't look like a Mummy bag.
Beautiful isn't it. I absolutely adore the colour, as it's not my usual colour for a bag but, it's just so pretty and I knew I could share it with my daughter too. I love the fact that it is soft and padded and it's incredibly secure. It has a zip at the top, which is then connected to clasp at the bottom of the bag, which gives it a really cool design, but it also makes it perfect for your treasured items inside of it. You have to undo the clasp to get bag fully open. So when you are in busy places, there is no risk of anything falling out, or a wandering hand going in. The one thing that I was surprised by, is that the opening of the bag once the zip is fully open is still quite small, so, it really is a clothing bag, it's not really suitable for putting large books or a laptop in there. Ipad yes, but you will struggle with anything large and solid.
The straps are really comfortable, even if they are not padded too which I was very surprised by. I do have to admit, even though the bag is huge, it really isn't heavy and the straps make it really comfortable, to the point that you actually forget the bag is on your back until you knock someone over with it..... whoops.
The other bonus of it being padded is that everything inside is protected for any knocks or when the bag gets thrown on the floor after a long day out.

Eat & Drink Festival - Christmas 2017

Christmas is on its way !!! And what better way to get ready than to get stocked up on festive bubbles and to go through the some exciting new Christmas Recipes. 2017 is set to be a fizz-filled Christmas as food producers create a range of Prosecco and Champagne-filled dishes for the festive season. Perfect place to go first is the Eat & Drink Festival.
Research conducted by the Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA) has reported that UK residents drink their way through around 85 million bottles of Prosecco each year with a large percentage of the sparkling beverage consumed over the Christmas period.
Sales of sparkling wine and Champagne have soared an incredible 72% in the UK since 2012, with 97% of 18 to 24 year olds also claiming to enjoy Prosecco and other sparkling alcohols. I love drinking champagne, sparkling wine, Prosecco, Cava, sparkling rose, and of course, any of these in a cocktail is even better. It's a sophisticated way of drinking and no straws necessary, so they are even better for the environment. (Any excuse, I know, but still, its a good enough excuse !!)
This year, food retailers such as Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s are incorporating the fizz trend into many of their festive recipes, stocking their shelves with an array of dishes such as Prosecco-filled turkey, raspberry and Prosecco panna cotta terrine and Prosecco panettone. Sound good don't they.

Wine expert Olly Smith commented: “The introduction of more fizz-themed dishes at Christmas reflects the UK’s love of bubbly around the festive season. Infusing holiday dishes with Prosecco, sparkling wine and Champagne may sound bonkers, but as long as it tastes splendid, I say let’s dive in!”
Olly Smith appears next to mixologists and other Christmas-tipple experts at the Eat and Drink Festival, which runs at Manchester’s EventCity from 9 to 12 November as well as between 22 and 26 November at London Olympia.
Visitors can enjoy a taste of Christmas from around the world as well as sample and shop for fresh produce and handmade products such as from balsamic vinegars, oils and pastries and stock up on festive treats including brownies, cakes and puddings.
Tickets also give access to the Ideal Home Show at Christmas, which runs alongside the foodie event. So you have a great opportunity to buy Christmas Gifts and other Foodie Items. I am very excited for this event as I love foodie festivals of any kind and when alcohol is involved, it's even better.

Tickets for the Eat and Drink Festival 2017 are available now from the website or by phone on 0844 209 7330, children under 16 enter free. Adult Tickets are from £13.00 each.

Peace Hospice Care Charity Events

I know a lot of people that enjoy doing charity events, whether it be running, walking, cycling or obstacle events. It's something that a lot of people enjoy doing as well as having fun, and getting fit and it's all for such great causes. Personally I would love to do more events or walking exhibitions. I'd love to walk through Vietnam, or the great wall of China, or even the coastal walk around the Isle of Wight. There are many that I would love to do and I have spent a few years looking around at really good ones where I don't need to raise a couple of grand before I can even consider doing the event. Obviously, if I had the funds myself I would do it with no questions asked. The other consideration is time. When my children are a bit older I would be more willing to leave them for a few days so I can go off on a charity adventure.

One of our local charities The Peace Hospice do many events throughout the year that cater for all ages, and all abilities.
Here are a few of their up and coming events:
4th November 2017 - They will be collecting money at Cassiobury Park Fireworks Show in Watford. This show is absolutely incredible and The Peace Hospice will have volunteers there to collect donations from everyone when they enter the park.
11th November 2017 - Yogathon in Watford is a great one for all yoga lovers. Obviously, this event is also for anyone and everyone that wants to give Yoga a try. It is three sessions, and you can choose to do one, two or all three of the sessions. 45 minute Bikram Yoga, 45 minute Vinyasa, and a 45 minute Yin session. It is based at Fitness4Less in Watford and starts at 2pm. The suggested donation is £10 per session.
18th November 2017 - The Wishing Well Live Music Event. They have arranged for 3 bands to entertain you all for a fun night. All of the bands have donated their time for free so that all the donations received on the night will go towards The Peace Hospice. They have The Alternative Rhythm & Sound Experience, The Racketeers and The Visitors joining them for the night.
11th March 2018 - It's the London Bridges Walk. This was so popular last year, that they have decided to do it again. It is a family friendly 10 mile walk crossing 12 bridges in the heart of London. It starts at 9.30 at Battersea Parks Pagoda and ends at 4.30 at Tower Bridge. There is not set time this walk should take you and you can just take your time or rush it, its up to you. There are plenty of museums and other iconic landmarks to see enroute so it makes for a really fun family day out. Adults are £18 each and children over 5 are £10 each.
16th March 2018 - Strictly Come Hospice. This has proved to be very popular with Watfords locals. This event actually starts in January and you are given seven weeks of dance lessons and then perform at Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth in front of a large audience of 500 and the judges themselves. The Registration fee for this is only £25.
They have a few other crazy events for next year for the more adventurous of us. Trekking in Cambodia, Snorkelling with Sharks, Tandem Skydives and Wing Walking - on a flying plane....so if you are brave enough search the website and get your registered.

They also have NightLight Walks which I have done in the past and will do again and I really want to do Push it For Peace next year which is an inflatable obstacle course in Cassiobury Park in Watford. I missed it this year as I already had plans, but .... I will have to keep it free for 2018.

The reason why The Peace Hospice is such a special charity is because they care for all patients that have a life limiting illness. They make the last few days, weeks, or months the most comfortable they can in any way that they can and they also help whilst people are getting treatments for cancer and other life changing illnesses. They have meditation sessions and group sessions for family members as well the patients themselves. They are an incredible team who have a very difficult but very caring job. They are our hidden heroes and they are all angels

You can always find out more about The Peace Hospice Events by calling them on 01923 335373 or emailing events@peacehospicecare.org.uk

Another thing to remember that as it is a charity, you are always more than welcome to organise your own events on behalf of The Peace Hospice and they will help you where they can. Alternatively, if you just want to donate then you can do this direct on their website.

Eat Real Healthy Snack Options

Eat Real Chips are super healthy 'crisps' and great for vegetarians and vegans - woohoo !!! A crisp for everyone. When I saw these I wasn't entirely convinced and wondered if they would even taste of anything, but I'm glad to say, that they are actually really good. Each product has a different flavour and texture and they look pretty funky too. Who would have thought that lentil chips would have been a great healthy snack ? I love lentils and I like to add them to sauces and curries, but I've never tried them in this form and Quinoa ??? I've only ever had quinoa in a salad. So I have been pleasantly surprised by this brand and I am very happy to recommend them. I now need them in every flavour !
Eat Real snacks have a very simple concept which is... Taste, Nutrition & Real Ingredients. There is literally no added nasties and everyone can enjoy them. They are all made and produced in the UK and shipped out to the USA and Australia aswell. Although I'm sure these will be worldwide within a few years.

123 Flowers Delivery - Next Day Delivery

We all need a treat every now and then, and when we would like to show someone how much we love them, so we tend to turn to flowers as a beautiful gift, as they can be sent to anyone, anywhere, at any time.
123 Flowers are a new online flower delivery company that send beautiful good quality flowers to anywhere in the UK. They have free next day delivery on most of their bouquets at present, which is a huge bonus, especially if you have forgotten a birthday or a special date for a loved one. Or of course, maybe you want to send a gift just because.....
123 Flowers sent me a bouquet to review and I am happy to say.....they are beautiful and I wouldn't hesitate in using the company myself for sending out birthday gifts and also Christmas gifts for friends and family that live far away. As they are so new, they only have a few bouquets on offer, which.....is actually a bonus, as I've looked on flower delivery websites before and the amount of different bouquets they offer is just so overwhelming that you have no idea where to start or how to choose just one bouquet.
I love my Magnificent Flowers. This bunch of chrysanthemums, carnations, and pistacia is perfect for any occasion. Bursting with beauty, this warm flower arrangement will brighten anyone's day.

Arthur Price & The Minions - Despicable Me 3 Collaboration

Buying keepsake gifts for children can be really hard. You want to be able to buy them something that they can keep forever, so toys are not always an option. So what kind of items would you buy ?
When I think back to my childhood and what I still have now ..... 20 to 30 odd years later, I  have plenty of soft toys that are now in my children's room, jewellery, that are either sitting in a box or my daughter has them and I also have a few plates. Now, plates is a strange one, but I'm still using them. Ok I use them for side plates instead of dinner plates, but they are mine and I have kept them. So, whilst thinking of keep sakes for my children I came across Arthur Price as they do special cutlery for children that will last a life time. Infact, all of Arthur Price's products are amazing. They have over 100 years of experience of designing the most exquisite cutlery for the family home as well as for hotels and other hospitality establishments. They are stylish and timeless, and will literally last a lifetime. They sell many different styles of cutlery and collaborated with the likes of Sophie Conran, whom I absolutely love.
So for the children, Arthur Price has many choices of cutlery sets that range from £14.99 to £49.00 or alternatively, they do individual spoons from £3.50. However, my little man loves the Minions, and thankfully Arthur Price have collaborated with Despicable Me.

Saturo - Ready to Drink Meal

We all need to start making a huge difference with our food input and wastage. It's all over the television and media that we need to start eating healthier and in reduced quantities. So many people in the world are starving and then on the other side so much food is being wasted. I just can't get my head around the fact that it is the norm that every British household can waste up to £400 of food a year, and as a whole the Brits can waste up to £13 billion pounds worth of food. Now that's an unbelievable amount of food....that's also 7.3million tonnes of food. Disgraceful isn't it. We are supposed to be getting better but somehow it seems to getting worse. Yes we recycle more which is fantastic and the government have helped us by organising new recycling schemes and collecting our recycling to be separated. So I do think as a whole, recycling is so much better in Britain. A lot of countries are reducing plastic use and we have reduced shopping bags, which all goes to help the environment and our planet. So to help us further there are now quite a few companies that supply and produce food supplement drinks that can keep us full and healthy in the day, with very minimal food wastage. With drinks like these there is no cooking, minimal washing up and no food wastage. I've been adding more and more different types of food supplements to my diet and trying to keep my food wastage down. I do enjoy a good protein shake, and I've tried lots of different brands. I like to mix it up and make up my own flavours by adding fruit or other supplements. However making up a protein drink at home has it draw backs. I now have a draw in my kitchen of just protein shake shakers. I used my Kitchen Aid Blender so much, it has now died on me and so I had to buy a new blender. I have to shake up the drinks loads so there are no lumps, because, that is the absolute worst. Some protein powders just don't mix well at all, and others have bits in that you can't get rid of even in a blender. So...whats the best alternative?
Someone making it for you !! Here comes Saturo !!

Isle of Wight Family Getaway

I absolutely love the Isle of Wight. We've been a few times as we have friends that live there, but every time we go, we do something new and I just wanted to give you a few ideas if you travel there.
Firstly, take a car, as it makes exploring so much easier. It doesn't take long to drive around the island and it means you can get to see so much more and plus you get to drive The Military Road which is a fantastic coastal drive along the bottom of the island. It stops at several beaches and has amazing views.
We've always used either Red Funnel or Wightlink ferries to travel over in the car. Tickets can be pre-booked or you can chance it and just turn up and get on the next ferry. (However you can get good deals online beforehand). Both companies are just as good as each other.
We have stayed in Park Resorts - Caravan Parks previously, however this year we stayed at a lovely holiday cottage in Yarmouth which we all fell in love with, and actually, it was completely perfect for us. There are loads of cottages and houses to rent for your stay on the island and I have to say, I found it very difficult picking one. So after a few enquiries, we went for Tap Cottage in Yarmouth.

Lumity Life - Anti-ageing Supplements

Anti-ageing supplements, do they work ? Lumity claim they do. Lumity capsules are supplements that are full of nutrients to help you glow from within.
They have been specially designed by scientist Sara Palmer Hussey PhD, who decided to design a special formulated anti-ageing remedy that is suitable for everyone and will benefit the way the body functions for years and years as well as how it appears.

Life has its ups and downs, which can be stressful. Some people seem to spend their lives working overtime which can cause lack of sleep. Tiredness can then cause a whole load of new problems with our bodies and our skin. I know a lot of people who work work work, they then go to the gym or similar, but although they eat healthily they still feel exhausted. So as much as we don't like to admit it, sometimes we really do need the extra help. Supplements are the perfect way to get all those extra nutrients and vitamins and minerals into our bodies that we use up just by being tired. Our bodies have to work even harder when we are tired to just get through the day without passing out at our desks.

The Comedy Loft - Watford

Do you ever get to the point where you just don't know what to do over the weekend? You've finally got a Saturday free and you just want to go out and have some fun and let your hair down. But what ?
What if you want to go out with a group of friends, but you all want different things and you're really not too sure how to combine them all. Or what if as a parent, you just want to get out and have some Adult time, and only do what adults can do or hear.

Well The Comedy Loft is the perfect venue. This is strictly over 18's only. You can drink, eat and have sore cheeks from laughing so much then you can carry on the night with a disco afterwards. Perfect right ?

They have four around the country, in Birmingham, Reading, Camden and Watford so far. They are only a year old, and are celebrating their First Year Birthday Celebration on the 10th June 2017.

The Gauntlet Games

In just a month I will be completing the Gauntlet Games in Trent Park near London with a few of my best mates. We completed Rough Runner last year which was so much fun and a great excuse to try and attempt a bit of running and strengthening up the muscles.

When I saw The Gauntlet games advertised, I thought it would be perfect for us, as we're up for a laugh and we don't all take the fitness side of it too seriously..... as in, most of don't go to the gym, we like keeping fit and making the most of what fitness we can do, but we're not marathon trainers.

Xero RF Treatment Experience

I wanted to let you know how my Xero Lipo sessions went at the West London Dermatology Centre in Chiswick. I completed a session a week, although it is recommended to have two sessions a week if you can.
Xero Lipo is a non-surgical treatment that will literally burn fat away and the Xero Lipo RF is the skin tightening treatment. I had both treatments as they are for a combined result.

Vita Coco Coconut Milk - Tropical Smoothie #tasteslikenoudder

Woohoo, Vita Coco now sell Coconut Milk alongside their Coconut Water and Coconut Oil. It's very exciting as Vita Coco is really high quality so obviously the milk is going to be one of the best on the market.  I've been using the Oil since I found it at Foodie Festival a couple of years ago and I've always loved the Water. It's definitely one of the nicest coconut waters I've tasted. They also sell them with different flavours so you can mix it up a bit.

Nutribuddy Weightloss Breakfast Kit

I absolutely love my Nutribuddy Sculpting Whey Powder. I have been drinking it since last January when it came out and I've been buying it ever since. It is my go to protein drink and it has helped me loose weight and improve my figure. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a kick start to a healthier lifestyle. I have mentioned it previously on my blog so I'll add the links to those posts at the bottom. Nutribuddy have become so popular that they have already expanded their products.
So to add to their vanilla and chocolate whey protein shakes, vitamins and hunger fix tablets they now have the Breakfast Kit. Now we all know that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, as it kickstarts your day, wakes you up and gives you plenty of energy to keep you going until lunch time.

Yerba Mate #yerbamatemission

Wow, I've just been researching Yerba Mate and it's actually quite fascinating. Yerba Mate is from an evergreen holly tree that is grown in South America, and is widely drunk by....nearly everyone. They say it's a really healthy tea with the kick of coffee and gives you the feeling of chocolate euphoria.
It has some great health benefits such as hydration, metabolism boosting and stimulation. It sure does wake me up !! It also has more antioxidants than green tea....wowsers!!
Some people drink it with just water, others drink it with sugar in warm milk, and others blend it with other herbs or plants for flavour. Because of its popularity, there are a lot of companies out there are blending it into many different flavours and drinks for us.
Yuyo are now a company that started off with Rosie & Charles travelling across South America and fell in love with the culture and the food and drink on offer. When they arrived home, they wanted to experiment with yerba mate and see if they could make different blends that would cater for many tastes.

It's almost my Birthday

It's my birthday this week, and I have to say, that I'm actually quite confused by it. I'm going to turn 38.....38 !!! How the fuck did that happen? Where has time gone? I'm also scared as that means its just two years off 40, and I don't feel like I should be anywhere near 40. Yes I feel tired sometimes, but I don't feel aged. I had my first child at 29 and I think, I've just stayed there at that age, although some days I feel like I'm 25, other days I feel 29, but I never feel like I'm nearing 40.
Actually that's a lie, the Only time I ever feel my age is the morning after I've had a few drinks, and I say a few drinks, as it's been many years since I've drunk so much that I couldn't stand. I think if I didn't have kids I may have been a much bigger drinker now, but I just cant handle the hangover with kids, its not good, so I've actually just avoided it. Yes I drink, but it's not very often.
I'm actually a little scared but excited of hitting 40.
My bucket list has most definitely got longer, as I always wanted to travel and see the world, and, although I am very lucky to have have travelled a lot already, there is still so much more I want to see. Life is short, it really is....the years just fly by, especially when there are children involved. They go from a baby to a little adult so quickly, its actually really scary. So I'd really like to travel more now the kids are older. They are now at an age where they will remember their holidays and it's not all about making sandcastles.
If I had the money, I would pack my bags tomorrow and take the kids and start ticking off those lists. But with school, its not as easy to do that. However, if the right opportunity arose, I wouldn't hesitate.
When I was younger I wrote lists of where I would go and in what order. I wanted to travel around Australia and New Zealand, and then travel across America. I wanted to hire a convertible and drive along route 66 and see Niagara Falls. There is so much to see in America, I couldn't possibly list them all. I also want to travel across Africa and do safaris and see the animals in the wild instead of behind cages. My goodness, Africa is such an amazing continent, Morocco, Gabon, Namibia, South Africa are all full of wonderful experiences. I want to take a train across Canada and snowmobile in the mountains and watch the bears eat salmon from a wooden hut. I'd love to see the Northern Lights and sleep in an igloo. I'd like to Greek Island hop, I have, to be fair visited quite a few already, but there are still more to do. I'd like to visit places of history like Rome and Pompeii, and then explore Mexico and Brazil. Then ..... of course, the Caribbean.

My bucket list also includes the many many hotels in the UK that I'd love to visit, whether it be for a glass of champagne in the bar, or a meal, a spa experience or an over night stay .... or of course, all of that. I actually completed a bucket list tick on Saturday, where I finally ate in The Glasshouse at The Grove Hotel. It was amazing, and although it is very costly, it is worth every pound. I used to work at The Grove Hotel, and the only thing left in the hotel that I would like to do is have a spa day. It really is one of the best in England.

So much to do !!!! Thank goodness, I still have plenty of time.

Then of course, we are working our way around the UK. We're back to the Isle of Wight this year for a wedding so we are going to do some proper exploring this time. We are staying in Yarmouth near the national reserves and ports, so I'm excited about that. I'd also like to finally do Sherwood Forest and take the kids to Cornwall and Devon. Then we have the top part of Wales to do and then over to Island for a road trip would be awesome. Not all in this year ..... obviously.

I'm continuing my healthy lifestyle. I still have days where I just want to eat every sweet thing I can find but on the whole, my diet is much better and I exercise a lot more. Having the dogs also encourages me to get out a lot more. I've always loved walking...its the most natural exercise you can do. I decided to do a 5 mile walk on Saturday, just because I could. I'd like to get a couple of fitness obstacle courses this year. I've already signed up for Gauntlet Games but there's a few others I'd like to attempt.

I'm going to try and stop saying .... 'yes soon'.....to......'lets book a date in' lets do this !!!!

How do you feel near your birthdays, do you go through your bucket list like me?

M Hotel by Montcalm in Shoreditch - London Tech City

I had the pleasure in staying at the M Hotel in Shoreditch London last weekend with a friend of mine Miss E, for very early birthday celebrations, as she will be away on holiday for mine. The M Hotel is part of the Montcalm Hotel group who now have six different hotels across London which are all luxury high class hotels at a reasonable rate. The first Montcalm Hotel was actually completed in 1973 and they have slowly increased to the six very highly ranked hotels of today.

The M Hotel is an absolutely incredible building. It's almost like an optical illusion when you are walking towards it. I still can't understand the building, as once you are inside it, its hard to work out how it all fits and how it doesn't feel like you are walking around a triangle.

There's a new Popcorn in town - Ikorn - King Of Korn

There's a new brand of Popcorn in town. Ikorn - The King of Korn

I love popcorn, always have. In the winter months, I tend to stay in a lot more and chill out at home. So I like Movie Nights, and of course Movie Nights must require popcorn. It's just something that we've always had. Whenever you go to the cinema, buying popcorn just goes part and parcel. So it's now formed a habit that you need something to munch on whilst watching a film. Thank goodness popcorn is actually a really healthy snack, much better than snacking on countless amounts of chocolates. So .... bring on the popcorn !!! However, some brands like to coat the popcorn in caramel or toffee or even chocolate to be more like a sweet treat, which is ok in moderation, but some brands are so sweet and artificial it ruins the fact that it is a fantastic low calorie snack. Ikorn want to remind everyone that popcorn is a healthy snack and they can provide one of the best option for you as they only use Coconut Oil to cook the Popcorn in.

Goodyfull Organic Superfoods Competition

There are many people that would like to try Superfoods and or high nutritional content foods, but have no idea what they are or how to use them. I know I was one of them....I'd never heard of chia seeds, acai berry, or goji berries a few years ago, and now they seem to be everywhere. What on earth do you do with them all?????? When you look at the aisles in the shops that are full of different seeds, powders, berries, it can be really quite overwhelming. Unless you know what to do with them it's very difficult trying to work out what is best for you, and then of course, you end up buying a massive bag of some seeds and then it ends up sitting in your cupboard until one day you may find a recipe that requires them.
Well this is where Goodyfull comes in. They are a company that sources high nutritional foods for you and then delivers them straight to your door, which is always a bonus. They are also packaged in a way that they will fit through your postbox too, so there is no waiting in for the postman.
They stock only organic products and of high quality.

To help you on your new healthy unknown journey, they have created the Goody Box especially for us. (Competition at the end !!!! )

First Impressions of Xero Lipo

I went for a consultation at West London Dermatology Centre where they have the Cosmeditech Xero Technology and I have say that I feel very positive about it. The West London Dermatology Centre deal with fat reduction, laser hair removal, hair transplants, skin peels, acne, skin rejuvenation. Last year they took on Xero Lipo which is a new fat reducing and skin tightening technology. I have explained this all in a previous post. I am very excited about this, as I really wanted to try the skin tightening Xero RF.

Working In The Hospitality Industry

I used to work in hospitality, and I trained for it at college. The roots of hospitality go back to ancient times when a warm bed and meals were provided to those simply passing by. Though this may have started in a small room with only the necessities provided, it has now evolved into large-chain hotels with over 5000+ locations. Through the evolution of the hospitality industry, those looking for a vacation spot, business conference venue, or quick place to stop at on a road trip, are commonly looking for more than a simple meal and bed to sleep in; they are looking for an experience. In turn, people working in hospitality are in the business of making someone else’s day and making all feel welcome. According to the 2009 Trends and Statistics survey by the British Hospitality Association (BHA), around 1.9 million now work in the hospitality industry.

Let's try XeroLipo....

Whilst scrolling through Twitter one day, I saw an advert for a brand new fat reduction and skin tightening treatment, and my eyes lit up.....skin tightening....this is exactly what I wanted. So I started looking into XeroLipo which is a new generation of non-surgical treatments which can reduce fat cells and tighten skin.
I have spent the last year trying to get back to the body I had before children. Of course, most mothers find this really difficult, and well, some are just blessed and look amazing within weeks. I don't know how...they just seem to suddenly have smooth flat stomachs and are enjoying themselves on beaches in teeny tiny bikinis looking like Victoria Secret models......How is this possible? What is their secret, or are they just blessed?  Then you have the other side, where mothers will show off their wrinkly bellies after childbirth and are then extremely proud to show the world. I on the other hand avoided all photos, certainly didn't take selfies (still don't do it often to be fair). As huge as you get whilst being pregnant you go from having a beautiful tight bump to a deflated balloon stuck on your front. It was such a strange feeling of all of a sudden getting jelly belly...it was like having waves flowing over you. I couldn't wait for it to go, even if it did humour others.

CosmediTech - Xero Lipo - What is it ?

Cosmeditech has over 30 years of experience of the development of medical and cosmetic treatments. In only 2016 they released the latest in non-surgical aesthetic treatments. Which is where Xero Technology  comes from - Xero Lipo and Xero RF. It includes laser and radio-frequency products that can improve how your skin looks and feels. It can also sculpt your body to way you want it...

Tealyra - The Galaxy of Teas

Tea !!! I've already had two cups of tea this very cold morning. I love to drink tea to warm up my body after a school run and to generally just relax with.
Tea can also be used to aid in weight loss and detoxing and Tealyra have many to choose from.
