Staycation in London ???

I've been looking around hotels and cities for a birthday weekend away and it has been really overwelming. What city do I stay in? Do I go abroad? Is it worth going abroad with all the travelling times? How many days can my kids stay with my parents? Do we need to take time off work?

Oh my ..... decisions decisions. When you only have a weekend, you want to make the absolute most of it. So after trawling through the internet and different travel agents looking at Venice, Amsterdam, Rome, Iceland, Bruge, Ireland..... Looking up hotels on TripAdvisor,  I literally got bored and decided to stay in the UK.

In the future I would love to do long weekends away with the kids aswell. I would absolutely love to go to Rome and Iceland is a Bucket List Dream, so these are still on the List and I will go when it is more convenient and maybe we can stay a week instead.

However, whilst looking around the UK, there have been some incredible deals and I really wish I shared them when I saw them before.

Here's a great one at The Montcalm that I saw this morning.

Book 3 nights or more for a 10% discount at The Montcalm at The Brewery in London City

Now, as I know The Montcalm Brand, this is a great option for a staycation in London City. So I've added this to my list of possibles. Have a read about my previous stay at The Montcalm in Shoreditch

So if you are looking around staying in London for a staycation, make sure you contact the Montcalm to see what they can do for you.

Or if you book at least 7 days in advanced at The Park Grand in Heathrow you can get 10% your entire stay. Alternatively, if you require a room near Heathrow before an early flight, this is another great option. Heathrow is a great base if you prefer not be be directly in the city as you have easy access into London and into the Country.

The Millennium & Copthorne Hotels have a special deal of up to 25% off their lowest rate from their website. A whole 25% off, I think that's brilliant. They have several hotels to choose from, and they are all fantastic and the perfect location for site seeing and visiting plenty of London attractions.
You have the
Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington
Millenium & Copthorne Hotel at Chelsea Football Club
Millenium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington
Millenium Hotel in Mayfair
Millenium Hotel in Knightsbridge
The Chelsea Harbour Hotel
The Baileys Hotel
After looking through all of them, I would love to stay at The Baileys Hotel, as I love the decor of the hotel and it's just my kind of hotel, however, I wouldn't say no to staying at any of the Millenium Hotels. If you love Boats, then Chelsea Harbour is the one for you. I used to book these hotels a lot with my past job, but never had the opportunity to stay in one of them. So, I still have a few of these on my 'Hotel List'.

Would you have a staycation in London ? Is there anywhere you would recommend ?
