F.O.Y. Fountain of Youth Beauty Products

Wrinkles, do we love and embrace them or try anything we can to fight them? I say ....fight them! We can do this with the help of F.O.Y. or Fountain of Youth. This is an anti-ageing brand that focuses on women aged 25 and over. The main natural ageing process is loosing the elasticity in your skin, which causes it to loosen and prevents it from regrowing and regenerating. This is why we need beauty products and FOY are here to help.
For a start I really liked the boxes...I know I know, it seems weird, but when I opened my parcel to find these beauties, I fell in love with them. I didn't even want to open them, they looked so pretty. they are in all their natural glory. They are in very calming packaging, that would blend into any bathroom. They are very non-offensive and look fabulous.
When you start using them though it would be better if the Day and Night Cream actually looked different as when its late at night, you have to strain your eyes to see the DAY or NIGHT. My other set back about the packaging is the Micellar Water lid. It twists open and closed, but, in a dim room late at night...its really hard to see where the liquid comes out. Yes, I have accidentally poured some on the floor....So, with these products...just remember to have a brightly lit room when you are using them. I tend to do a lot with a dimmed light at night time, due to the kids being asleep. Apart from that...they were lovely.
OK, so lets go through them one by one.
Micellar Water: This is a gentle micellar water that removes make-up and tones the skin. It feels just like water gliding over your skin and removes make-up well. If you didn't put any moisturiser on afterwards, it would fine, as it does actually moisturise the skin as well. It contains Panthenol, Chamomile, Ginseng and Rose Water. All fantastic ingredients. Down point is I am almost half way through and I've only been using it for 10 days. I would have thought it would have lasted a bit longer. You need to use quite a lot to get your make up completely off, which is almost like double cleansing and you definitely need to do this in the mornings after using the night cream.
Moisturising Day Cream: This cream is light and smooths nicely over the skin. It's designed for long lasting hydration and a good make-up base. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Shea Butter and Jojoba. Jojoba is an excellent ingredient, however it does have a very strong smell to it. It's quite a nutty smell, which reminds me of almonds. So if you are a fan of marzipan this is perfect for you. I liked this cream as it feels lovely and light on your skin.
Rejuvenating Night Cream: This is lovely thick cream that you know is working. It helps improve the skin texture and elasticity. This does feel quite warm once applied, so if you have sensitive skin, try a sample first. This is a light green colour and has the same smell as the day cream. Its contains, Jojoba, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Panthenol for increased hydration, and other root ingredients to help keep the skin youthful and to fill in the fine lines. You can still feel this in the morning, so you need a good go at the micellar water to start afresh.
Both the creams come with a plastic inner lid to keep it secure in transit.
Revitalising Eye Gel: I really like the look of this bottle, it's super cute and the pump is really easy to use. The perfect amount comes out every time. Now, although this is called Eye Gel, you can actually use it on your neck as well. It's really lightweight and it absorbs really easily. Once on, it pretty much disappears into your skin. This will tighten the skin around your eyes, to reduce those fine lines.
This contains Echinacea, Hyaluronic Acid, Sea Chamomile. This should be used day and night. This is possibly my favourite out of the four.
All of F.O.Y. products were designed as an post surgery treatment to get the skin ready, however, the patients reported such great skin so the extra treatments were not required after all.
The products have all be designed and tested by scientists and produced especially for mature skin. They can now be used in salons and spas, as well as at home. F.O.Y. now has 8 products in total and they generally work best when using together.

I really liked F.O.Y and will continue to use it in the future. However, I do feel that this is best for skin for the over 40's, as I think it is a bit to concentrated for my skin, and I am mid to late 30's. I prefer to feel that the creams have completely soaked into my skin but F.O.Y. seems to coat and sit on my skin. This is possibly because of my age, and that I have been using anti-ageing creams for quite a while now.

Have a look at their website for further details and for the rest of their product range HERE.
