Arthur Hooper's Restaurant by Borough Market - London

Overlooking London’s historic Borough Market, Arthur Hooper’s restaurant serves guests European small plates and platters.

Victorian Arthur Hooper was a charming fruit salesman, who once occupied 8 Stoney Street. Until recently, the building was left derelict so the building’s historical ties to food and the local community have been lovingly restored and is now a beautiful restaurant.

The 51-seater restaurant offers guests a modern European menu, designed by Chef Lale Oztek. Chef Lale Oztek trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London and has worked in prestigious restaurants and culinary environments including the JW Marriott Ankara, London’s Bernardi’s and Zucca.
"I'm excited to bring my love and enthusiasm for food to such an iconic and historic destination. We’ll work hard to ensure that our customers feel welcomed, whilst enjoying delicious dishes from around Britain and Europe, in a relaxed and friendly environment” Chef Lale Oztek

Chef Lale Oztek dishes include paccheri with slow cooked beef ragu, burrata, samphire and almond salad and Gower clams with nduja and courgettes.
